Garlic Herb Asparagus

Ingredients

 

2 bundles fresh asparagus (~800g)

1 tbsp Olive Oil total

Garlic Herb Shaker Seasoning

 

Serves: 4

 

Directions

 

1. Snap off "ends" of asparagus spears.

2. Weigh total amount of asparagus in grams (write down, and divide by 4).

3. Rinse spears in colander and let dry.

4. Chop spears in half. 

5. Place 1/4 of the cut spears (making sure to get both heads and ends) each into quart size baggies. 

6. Pour 1/4 tbsp olive oil into bag along with garlic herb shaker seasoning.  Shake vigorously until all spears are coated.

7. Dump coated spears onto an oven pan, bake at 400 degrees for ~20 min until roasted.

***I actually really like just popping my coated spears in the microwave for ~2 minutes; It's a super easy healthy side option for office lunches :)

8. Store other baggies in fridge for easy ready-to-make future sides!
